Cheers Bar & Grille

Originally the Bull & Finch Pub, Cheers Beacon Hill provided the exterior image and original look for the highly successful 1980s sitcom Cheers. The restaurant is a busy tourist destination and is conveniently located across from Boston’s Public Garden and near a variety of strolling and shopping destinations.

The Gibson House

One nearby site, the historic Gibson House Museum, accurately preserves the look and feel of a fine Back Bay residence from the 1860s. As much of Boston was created from land filled into bays and salt marshes, this neighborhood didn’t exist prior to the mid-1800s. Once established, however, the Back Bay became one of Boston’s premiere residential neighborhoods and remains an architecturally and historically vibrant area.
